Anita Kocharians obtained her initial Podiatry qualification from Sydney Institute of Technology in 1996 followed by post graduate qualification from University of South Australia in 2009.
Having worked in both private and public sectors since 1997 Anita has vast experience in all scopes of Podiatry involving diagnosis, treatment and prevention of foot related problems in people of all ages from children to adults. Anita has also been the coordinator of the NSW Health chronic diseases diabetic foot program for South Eastern Sydney Area Health Services, developing clinical pathways and care protocols for multidisciplinary management of complex diabetic foot presentations in St Vincent’s, Prince of Wales, St George and Sutherland hospitals with the aim of reducing diabetes related amputations and hospital stays between 2000 – 2006. After taking some maternity leave to have her two children, Anita established Podology Centre for Podiatric Medicine in 2010 in Gordon on Sydney’s North Shore and has been providing services at Willoughby Medical Practice since 2012 and Ararat Medical Centre from 2019.
