Dr Williams joined Willoughby Medical Practice in June 2021 after working as a full time GP in her previous practice in Artarmon since 1994. She enjoys providing continuity of medical care to her patients and sharing their lives.

After graduating from University of NSW in 1978 Lynn worked in NSW hospitals until joining Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions as Medical Officer. She spent wintering years at sub Antarctic Macquarie Island and Mawson, Antarctica and a summer season at Heard Island. Research undertaken during these years was the basis for  a thesis for a Doctor of Medicine (UNSW) in Community Medicine.

Returning to NSW she completed the RACGP Family Medicine program with several general practices before settling in Artarmon.

Dr Williams has retained an interest in fitness and outdoor activities and brings this background to her patient’s health and fitness goals. She has an interest in mental health and well-being and all aspects of general practice.
