Dr Sanjay has over 25 years’ experience in many disciplines of medicine with experience overseas as well as Australia.

He trained as a specialist General Practitioner and obtained the fellowship in General Practice in Australia after moving to Australia 15 years ago.

He also obtained a Diploma in child health from the university of Sydney.

Dr Sanjay Kapuwatte is a practice principal at Willoughby Medical Practice and Loxley house Family Practice and shares his expertise at both practices.

Dr Sanjay has an interest in minor surgery and procedures, muscular and orthopaedics, men’s health, chronic disease management, workers compensation issues and general Family Medicine.

He has trained in skin cancer surgery with the Royal Australian College General Practitioners and is very experienced and proficient in skin cancer checks and removal of skin cancers.

Dr Sanjay offers Bulk billing for ELIGIBLE patients only (patients under 16 years of age, a person who holds and is eligible for a current health concession card, pension card, holders of a DVA Gold Card / White Card (specific conditions).
